X Buster System

The X Buster System, meticulously crafted and developed by Light Industries exclusively for the Maverick Hunter X. The system generates a weapon schematic based on the genetic code X obtains from defeating his prey. The stronger enemies he fights, the more advanced his weapons become. He can switch between the weapons on thought.

This is, of course, just a fancy version of Mega Man's famous "kill a boss, take his weapon" system, where after defeating a boss, the announcer will tell you "YOU GOT... FLAME CANNON!", and Mega Man would just flip to a red color. I don't think the developers ever put much thought into how he does this. XD

I've always been a Mega Man X fanboy when I was little. Maverick Hunter X is my vision of Mega Man X in a live action motion picture. The design is more realistic, mature, and serious, as opposed to its cartoony, over-the-top counterpart. I think it is an interesting approach to the Mega Man franchise.
