Description

I was getting a little more than frustrated when I was drawing swords because I never knew the proportions as to how long they should be and stuff, so I started to make more technical "drawings" of the swords in Black Silhouette.

Silhouette Blade:
Traditional Japanese Katana that were forged to be indestructible. They are wielded with two hands. Embossed on each blade is the name of the blade. Only four blades have been forged: The Night Blade, The Dark Blade, the Venom Blade, and The Shadow Blade.

The sheath they are contained in is not so traditional. It is equipped with air nozzles to release the pressure stored inside of the sheath. It also has slits which expand and loosen the sheath into three portions upon summoning the sword, allowing for a much smoother, quicker transition from the sheath to the wielder. A single delay in drawing your weapon could mean the difference between life and death.

Silhouette Kunai:
Special sports branded Kunai are longer and lighter than traditional Kunai. They are equipped with a pointed edge for penetration, a bladed edge for cutting, and a serrated edge for puncturing deeper wounds. The Kunai is most effective when the wielder utilizes all three functions in successive order while in combat. An experienced wielder would take advantage of all three functions with a single flick of the wrist. The Silhouette Kunai is the hallmark in close-quarters combat.

Silhouette Shuriken:
Unlike traditional Shuriken, the Silhouette Shuriken is complex in it's design. Rounded edges allow it to smoothly glide through the air. Internal holes, gaps, and spaces, along with evenly distributed weights on each tip allow it to cover maximum distances while still maintaining a steady velocity while it spins. The wielder may tilt the Shuriken to allow it to curve and hit targets not directly ahead. The Silhouette Shuriken is lighter, and has a much more effective range than a traditional Shuriken.

Silhouette Kaginawa:
The Silhouette Kaginawa, or grapple hook, does not require cranking in order to be thrown at great distances. Instead, it is powered by silent Carbon Dioxide canisters that launch the harpoon into a desired surface. While reaching the apex of the climb, the harpoon will launch a secondary explosive tip to allow one end of the nylon cable to be embedded into a wall. Meanwhile, the harpoon transforms into a claw which will then latch onto a given edge. This two way system allows the cable to reach a direct target, while the claw latches on afterwards, eliminating the task of "catapulting" a traditional grappling hook to reach a desired surface.
